That is why we are a chapter-based organization with a clear focus on the development of our people, while driving the delivery of TDI’s products and services in tribes for Deutsche Telekom’s operations in different countries.<h2>About The Job</h2>We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain backend services with direct business and customer impact.The role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and well-structured backend applications, with optional exposure to modern cloud-native and microservice environments.<h2>&nbsp;Key Responsibilities</h2>Backend Development<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.</li><li>Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.</li><li>Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions.</li><li>Contribute to the design of service APIs, data models, and integration concepts.</li><li>Support integration of backend services into existing enterprise IT landscapes.</li></ul>Architecture &amp; Integration<ul><li>Contribute to backend solutions based on service-oriented and microservice architectures.</li><li>Participate in the design and implementation of inter-service communication patterns (REST, messaging).</li><li>Support integration with message-based systems and asynchronous processing where applicable.</li><li>Collaborate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.</li></ul>Testing &amp; Quality<ul><li>Implement and maintain automated tests (unit and integration tests) for backend services.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.</li><li>Support system and integration testing activities, including basic performance and load considerations.</li></ul>Deployment &amp; Lifecycle<ul><li>Support build, deployment, and release processes for backend services.</li><li>Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and repeatable delivery.</li><li>Assist with deployment and operation in containerized or cloud-based environments.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Process<ul><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including service design, APIs, and operational guidelines.</li><li>Contribute to business process documentation and high-level target process descriptions.</li><li>Support effort estimation and contribute to cost/benefit considerations related to backend solutions.</li></ul>Collaboration<ul><li>Work in cross-functional, agile, and international teams.</li><li>Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA engineers.</li><li>Actively participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><h2>&nbsp;Required Skills &amp;
